Finally! Inventory Increases in June
Great news from a new housing report that shows both inventory and prices gains, according to the June Housing report… (RE/MAX)
- INVENTORY: Levels increased in June 1.7% from May the first time month-over-month inventory levels have increased in 15 months.
- SALES: Increased 14.2% month-over-month in June 2021. June is usually a busy month but this year was hotter than even normal with sales up 26.4% compared to June 2020.
- PRICES: Continued to skyrocket in June with the median sales price reaching $336,000. This was up 4.9% from May and was 21.9% higher when compared to June 2020.
Nick Bailey, President of RE/MAX, said in a statement, “June saw a unique case of supply and demand rising in unison, thanks to an uptick in sellers listing their homes for sale – a very welcome sign for frustrated buyers,”
